Social Conversion is a powerful extension for Conversion Manager, which integrates with leading social networks, to trigger real time direct notifications to website visitors Social Network accounts.

Up until now, most ecommerce teams have been focused on getting their website visitors to become fans. Communication with fans is usually limited to posting broadcast messages on to their fan pages on the social network, and responding to individual enquiries.

Social Conversion changes everything, because the individual behaviors of fans on the ecommerce site can be used to trigger personal 1-to-1 communications using direct messages to their social network account. Some examples of website behaviors include:

Browsing key pages on the ecommerce site

Abandoning a shopping cart

Entering an invalid promotional code

Making a first purchase

Friending your brand

All of these behaviors, and many more, can be used as triggers for intelligent social network campaigns which customers will appreciate. For example, a customer who makes a first purchase can be automatically rewarded with a promotional offer to share with their friends. Or fans that have looked at certain products can be directed to reviews or recommendations.

If you want to learn more about how these kinds of social marketing programs can be used to drive ecommerce revenues, we’ll be hosting a webcast on April 13th. You can find out more and register here.
